FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems of driver assistance and systems of active safety for vehicles, in particular, to systems to calculate angle of coupling between a vehicle and a trailer. The system to determine angle of coupling between a vehicle and a trailer comprises an image formation device installed on the trailer, the first navigation system installed in the vehicle, the second navigation system built into the image formation device, and a controller made as capable of defining the angle of coupling on the basis of data received from the first navigation system and the second navigation system.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve an assistance system for reverse driving with a trailer.
