SUBSTANCE: this invention is related to crude oil refining method that includes the installation for oil separation that consists of at least one unit for oil refining at atmospheric pressure for the purpose of its separation into different fractions, units for conversion of obtained heavy fractions, units for quality improvement of some fractions by impact on their chemical composition of their components and units for elimination of undesired components, at that the heaviest fraction, atmospheric residue, is sent to the conversion unit that comprises at least one reactor of hydraulic conversion in slurry phase or with fluidised bed, whereto hydrogen or mixture of hydrogen and H2S is introduced in presence of nanodisperse hydrogenation catalyst and at that the above conversion unit replaces the section of vacuum distilling.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of crude oil refining.
