The user equipment (420) is connected to the base station (410) in a cellular communication network (400). After receiving (702), from the base station, a grant in a subframe n to be used to report CSI, the user equipment determines (703) the type of the subframe for a subframe n+p. The user equipment then provides (704) the base station with a CSI report reflecting channel conditions in the type of subframe for the subframe n+p, where p is a variable.
