FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: circuit-breaker includes a fixed contact, a movable contact, switching unit, actuating lever, disconnecting unit and arc-quenching unit. The circuit-breaker is coupled to the main circuit in order to ensure passage of current. The disconnecting unit comprises stationary magnet, armature and mechanism of snap-action. Stationary magnet is placed in the main circuit and intended to create magnet force when current deviating from the rate value if generated in the main circuit. Armature is designed so that it can rotate and contact the stationary magnet, at that one side of the armature is placed at fixed distance from the stationary magnet while the other side forms stepped slant surface at that. The mechanism of snap-action is designed to contact stepped slant surface of the armature and to perform linear motion to the left or to the right in order to adjust the distance between the stationary magnet and armature for the purpose of its turning, thus allowing adjustment not only between the stationary magnet and armature but also setup of current value deviating from the rate value and actuating the disconnector.
EFFECT: improved stability of actuation.
