SUBSTANCE: invention relates to circuit protection device and circuit protection unit including such device. Circuit protection device includes a mechanism assembly configured to disconnect the load and the current protection device from the power supply line; assembly actuating at overvoltage of industrial frequency, actuating assembly-mechanism when voltage of industrial frequency is exceeded; printed circuit board connected to power supply line and ground and made with possibility to control assembly actuating at overvoltage of industrial frequency for operation at exceeding of industrial frequency voltage; a contact assembly having a first state and a second state, wherein at normal operating voltage, the contact assembly is in a first state in which it provides efficient power supply to the printed circuit board, and when voltage of industrial frequency is exceeded and actuating at overvoltage of industrial frequency assembly is actuated, actuating assembly-mechanism, assembly of contacts is in second state; and voltage surge protection device connected to printed circuit board and performing overvoltage protection under condition of voltage surge.

EFFECT: invention simultaneously implements protection from voltage surges and protection against overvoltage of industrial frequency and enables to implement overvoltage protection from voltage surge protection facilities, prolonging service life of the device for protection against voltage surges and effectively protects equipment and enhances the safety of personnel.
