FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method of supporting multiple-input multiple-output communication with a base station of a wireless communication network, user equipment and a computer-readable medium. The method comprises steps of establishing transmission permission associated with a secondary stream; and determining the size of a transport block for said secondary stream according to the relationship between the transmission permission and the size of the transport block, wherein said relationship differs from a primary relationship between the transmission permission and the size of the transport block used to determine the size of a primary transport block for a primary stream. Use of this approach, wherein a distinct relationship, conversion, function or look-up table is used to retrieve the size of the transport block for the secondary stream, relative a relationship, conversion or function used to retrieve the size of the transport block for the primary stream from the transmission permission of the primary stream, enables to use different sizes of transport blocks, wherein each can be suitable for its own associated stream.

EFFECT: improved technology for supporting MIMO communication.
