FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: system includes a set of mobile warning devices containing a sensor network detector of the intra mine environment. Base stations for the collection of information from such detectors are installed in the mine. Mobile devices and base stations are fitted with Wi-Fi transceiving devices. At least one controller of the cluster of base stations is fitted with devices of digital communication with the base stations and head office. The system includes land and underground routers, a unit of analyser of signals from mobile devices for alerting and alarming on the gas contamination level. Each mobile device in addition contains a positioning unit for the identification of position with reference to the base stations. Data collection base stations are installed in mine roadways so that in each point of the roadway to provide the reception of a signal by alerting mobile devices at least from two base stations.

EFFECT: improvement of the accuracy and reliability of determination of the gas contamination level with reference to specific coordinates of separate points of mine roadway and creation of an overall scanned picture at any moment in any place of the mine.
