FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. The method to measure and control a truck or bus frame consists in the fact that a metering device is installed upstream the frame, and radiation from the source is directed to the frame and to the reflector console. The reflector is fixed on one of frame parts. Radiation is reflected from the reflector to the radiation receiver. The metering device calculates coordinates of reflector position in different points of frame measurement. The distance between the external reflectors is adjusted to that the reflectors have the same permanent distance to the geometric middle of the reflector console. External reflectors are fixed on provided opposite longitudinal parts of the frame. Coordinates of reflector location are determined by synchronous method. A plant for measurement and control of the truck or bus frame comprises a reflector console comprising a reflector, a measuring device with a source and a radiation receiver and a computing device.

EFFECT: invention provides for higher accuracy of vehicle frame measurement.
