SUBSTANCE: method comprises using distance meters mounted for permitting movement along the guides and rotation and mounted from both sides of the vehicle at a given distance one from the other, recording spatial coordinates of the points of the casing surface of the vehicle and wheels from the right and left sides of the vehicle, acquisition of the data in the computer, and obtaining outlines of the vehicles in the horizontal and vertical planes.
