FIELD: physics, computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wireless network system. The network system comprises at least a network device (1) and a connecting device (21). The connecting device (21) comprises a communication interface (2) for transmitting and receiving data via a wireless medium, a second network address of a second network system (35) and configuration memory (28) for storing at least a network address. The network device (1) and the connecting device (21) are configured to operate in discovery mode. Said network device (1), upon receiving said discovery message, enters commissioning mode, wherein the network device (1) provides said connecting device (21) with connection information comprising at least a third network address of said first network system (30). The connecting device (21) stores said connection information in said configuration memory (28), so that said connecting device (21) is addressable in said first network system (30) and said second network system (35).
EFFECT: enabling simple, convenient and reliable configuration for connecting devise in a wireless network system.
