SUBSTANCE: device comprises an upper and a lower chamber, forming a chamber for receiving a tray and made with the ability of binding by their mutual overlapping. At that each chamber inside has a plurality of means of heat sealing and/or cutting, and/or stamping cutting, arranged concentrically, and the lower chamber has the support means for the tray along the centre. The method of packaging the trays is carried out using the device described above. At that the tray is positioned by centring on a support placed in the lower chamber, to the position below the upper chamber, then the chambers are displaced for their closing, and the upper and/or lower pressing means are actuated, selected in accordance with the size of the tray.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides diversification while increasing productivity and simplification.
