FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: device is designed, in particular, for packaging manually or automatically the trays containing food products or technical materials which can be inserted by the loading platform between the longitudinally folded parts of a film folded once. The device comprises means for thermal bonding or thermal sealing for sealing and at least one nozzle for creation of vacuum and/or injecting the gas or gas mixture and the vacuum chamber. At that the film folded once is fixed, and the vacuum chamber is movable transverse the direction of the trays insertion, and comprises at least one compression device movable over the film and pressed to the trays from above, which is provided with means adapted for passage of air and/or gas flows. At that the air return into the chamber is carried out through a series of openings located between the transverse thermal-sealing rod and the chamber wall, which is parallel to this rod.
