FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for transcervical gynaecological procedures. A delivery catheter assembly comprises a protective end sleeve mounted on an elongated catheter casing. The sleeve is configured sliding along the length of the elongated catheter casing between a nearest stop position and farthest stop position along the elongated catheter casing. A packing cap has a nearest packing to reduce a fluid leakage when the delivery system is inserted through the nearest packing. A self-closing packing is configured to reduce the fluid leakage when the delivery system is not inserted into the packing cap.
EFFECT: facilitated advance of the delivery catheter system.
