SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to gynecology. Fallopian tube condition is diagnosed. Uterine cavity is used to access the proximal oval of the fallopian tube. Method comprises placing the distal end of the catheter on the proximal end of the fallopian tube. Extroversion of the inelastic balloon at the distal end of the catheter from the extroverted position to an inverted position in the fallopian tube to prevent excessive expansion of the fallopian tube. Protruding portion containing the suture is configured to move between the retracted position and the extended position when the balloon is turned so that both the balloon and the suture have an external surface designed to remove and retain cells from the internal wall of the fallopian tube. Thread and balloon are withdrawn. Apparatus for diagnosing a fallopian tube is used, comprising: a tube having a distal end and configured to be positioned relative to the fallopian tube; non-elastic balloon having a distal end and attached to the distal end of the tube at the proximal end of the balloon, wherein the cylinder is movable between an extroverted position and an inverted position such that the balloon is expandable in the fallopian tube in an inverted position, and a thread located at the distal end of the balloon, wherein the suture is configured to pass into the fallopian tube for collecting cells.

EFFECT: method and device enable diagnosing fallopian tube condition with minimum risk of their injury.
