FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: inventions refer to medicine, and can be used for creation of abnormal opening occlusion in a body organ or a vessel. A woven metal structure exhibits a memory property which makes a medical device tending to recover its original said extended preset configuration when is found in a free state. Additionally, the device comprises at least one disk-shaped portion adjoining a hollow-carrier cylindrical portion formed of the structure, and has an intermediate diameter between the disk-shaped and cylindrical portions which is much smaller than diameters of the disk-shaped and cylindrical portions.
EFFECT: improved occlusal device provides higher flexibility between the disk and the cylindrical diameter for better matching of the disk and the opening wall, has improved holding power.
