SUBSTANCE: catheter contains part with tip, and one or more projections, located along external surface of catheter on or near part with tip. Invention also discloses method of inducing mechanic pleurodesis and method of inducing surface irritation.
EFFECT: application of invention caused creation of fibrotic adhesions between parietal and visceral pleura layers, which makes it possible to heal pleura cavity and prevent further accumulation of fluid or air, which results from pleural diseases.
