FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: 250-350 ml of 4% sodium bicarbonate solution are injected into pleural cavity. The process takes place before and after evacuation of air from pleural cavity is carried out, exposition being 20-30 min. EFFECT: prevents painful syndrome, decreases treatment time.
