FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: after inserting 3 ports for surgical management, the hyaloid is coloured before conducting a vitrectomy. The hyaloid is punctured by means of a retinal pointed spatula. A pressurised perfluororganic compound (PFOC) is introduced into a retro-hyaloid space by means of an extrusion cannula with a silicone tip. The hyaloid is separated thereby from the retina within the traction area. The extrusion cannula with the silicone tip is advanced in the retro-hyaloid space as far as the hyaloid is separated, to guide the PFOC distribution. The PFOC introduction continues until the hyaloid is completely separated from the retinal surface. That is followed by using a standard vitrectomy for the non-traumatic removal of the separated hyaloid and vitreous body, laser retinal endocoagulation and internal packing of the vitreous cavity.
EFFECT: invention provides conditions for the complete non-traumatic hyaloid separation, reliable anatomic adhesion of the detached retina with the positive functional result, and reduced number of the surgical stages.
