SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Four ports are installed, the central parts of the vitreous body are removed with separation of the posterior hyaloid membrane from the retina. Fluid is replaced with air, then subretinal fluid is drained from rupture in air medium. That is followed by a vitrectomy within the vitreous body base and the preciliary portions of the vitreous body above the ora serrata, followed by laser coagulation with sclerocompression in staggered order in 2-4 rows with power of 0.15-0.18 mW along the edges of the existing retinal ruptures. Tamponade of vitreal cavity is performed with sterile air.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to provide safe surgical treatment of local retinal detachment macula ON with minimal traumatisation, to eliminate the need for introduction of perfluoroorganic compound (PFOC) into vitreal cavity, reducing the number of postoperative complications, improving conditions for reliable adaptation of the retina, while maintaining anatomical and topographic relationships in the eye.
