FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel method for modification polyethyleneterephthalate (PETP) thread with functional additives, which can be applied in textile finishing production, in aircraft-, motor-car construction and rubber industry. Method for modification of polyethyleneterephthalate thread surface includes processing polyethyleneterephthalate with mixture of 1,1,3-trihydroperfluoropropanol-1, 1,1,5-trihydroperfluoropentanol-1 and copper diacetate-di-ε-carprolactamate in chloroform and n-hexane medium with their volume ratio 7:2 respectively at 40°C for 2 hours with the following component ratio, wt. p.: polyethyleneterephthalate thread - 99, 1,1,3-trihydroperfluoropropanol-1 - 0.4, 1, 1,1,5-trihydroperfluoropentanol-1 - 0.4, copper diacetate-di-ε-carprolactamate - 0.2.
EFFECT: increase of crystallinity degree and hydrolytic stability of PETP products, extension of their exploitation conditions.
