FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for modification of polyethyleneterephthalate (PETP) thread with functional additives to increase thermo-, photo-, wear- and hydrolytic stability and can be applied in textile finishing production, in aircraft-, motor-car construction and rubber industry. Method for modification of polyethyeneterephthalate thread surface includes processing polyethyeneterephthalate with 1,1,3-trihydroperfluoropropanol-1 with heating in medium of solvent for 2 h. Preliminarily polyethyeneterephthalate thread is processed with 1,1,3-trihydroperfluoropropanol-1 and copper diacetate-di-ε-caprolactamate at 50°C in chloroform medium with the following component ratio, wt. p.: polyethyeneterephthalate thread - 99; trihydroperfluoropropanole-1 - 0.9; and copper diacetate-di-ε-caprolactamate - 0.1.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase degree of crystallinity and thermo-oxidative stability of PETP products.
