FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: device for removal of the surface layer of oil-containing liquids contains a floating oil gathering device in form of a sector belt conveyor, comprising endless belt with perforated edges out of oil-resistant material, installed on three hollow tight drums, one of them is drive, and two other - driven with sprocket at ends to drive the belt with perforated edges, and secured with belt hingedly using the supports on movable frame. Between the hollow drums and belt branches a floater is located in form of hollow or and expanded foam filled tank with rectangular cross-section, and in form of sector in the longitudinal section, secured to the movable frame and made with possibility of oscillating together with the belt conveyor relatively the surface layer of the oil-containing liquids around the axis of the drive drum installed on two supports on the fixed frame together with the drive, drainage system made in form of a drain tray, acting as scraper installed on movable frame with possibility of contact with endless belt in place of the fixed frame installation. The belt with perforated edges is made wavelike, for example, in form of sinusoid cross-section to increase contact area between the conveyor belt and surface layer of the oil-containing liquid, the hollow drums have a profile copying profile of the belt with perforated edges, and scraper has cross-section profile mirror to the wave of drums and belt.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of oil products removal from surface of the water basins.
