FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: pyrotechnical illumination composition includes, wt %: oxidising agent - barium nitrate 41-47, magnesium powder 42-44 as a metallic fuel, an organic fuel in the form of a 25% solution of colophony in drying oil 4-5 and cryolite 4-5 as a coloured flame additive, as well as magnesium carbonate 3-5 as a cinder dispersant in the combustion wave.
EFFECT: improved characteristics of the illumination composition on combustion rate, brightness and spectrum of optical radiation in the visible range, primarily 0,5-0,6 mcm.
