SUBSTANCE: rope drum for the winch of the fibre optic rope drive with casing of the drum enclosure is equipped on the circumferential side with system of troughs, and with two support disks, that at the end side border with casing of the drum enclosure. The invention relates also to the rope sheave for such drive of the fibre optic rope with reinforced sheave cartridge having possibility of rotation, the enclosure surface contains one rope trough. Troughs of the rope sheave when looking towards cross-section have surface flattened round contour, that in area of the trough base has larger radius of curvature than in area of side surfaces of the trough adjacent with it.

EFFECT: increased reliability of device operation due to reduced wear of ropes.
