FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: current signal is measured for the motor of diagnosed electromechanical equipment, the obtained current signal is demodulated, the spectrum of the demodulated signal is calculated, the spectrum of the demodulated signal for running equipment of the same time is subtracted from the obtained spectrum of the demodulated signal for the tested equipment. At that the difference in spectrums is converted into a cepstrum and the obtained cepstrum is plotted in a frequency area. Amplitudes and quefrency of cepstrum informative components corresponding to the equipment defects are estimated, thereafter the pitch of the informative components location is linearised by the non-linear conversion of the frequency scale and defect frequencies are defined against the value of the cepstrum informative components, and the state of the tested equipment is evaluated against them.
EFFECT: improved efficiency in failure detection at an early stage of their occurrence.
