FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: stand comprises a wind tunnel with aerodynamic balances on a rotary platform with a model wire suspension. Rotation of the platform enables to change the angle of pitch (attack) of the model and the change of the installation angle of the model in the vertical plane enables to change the angle of yaw of the model. A screen placed between vertical pulls of the wire suspension and adapted for translational movement and inclination enables to change the height and the angle of roll of the model above the screen. This enables the simultaneous installation of the model with given angles of roll, pitch (attack) and yaw and distance to the screen, which improves accuracy of investigation and enables to determine the system of interconnected aerodynamic forces and moments acting on the model 4 in an air current in the presence of a screen.
EFFECT: providing the simultaneous change of angles of pitch, roll and yaw on different models away from the screen and high accuracy of tests.
