SUBSTANCE: communication method, carried out by a terminal in a communication system using carrier aggregation, includes receiving a MAC control element at a primary component carrier which includes a bit cluster indicating the activation/deactivation state of each of a secondary component carrier, which is added to the primary component carrier, which is always activated, wherein each secondary component carrier corresponds to one bit included in said bit cluster, and wherein said one bit indicates that the corresponding secondary component carrier must be activated or deactivated. Each secondary component carrier is activated or deactivated according to the received MAC control element.

EFFECT: high efficiency and reliability of activation.
