FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of transmitting periodic channel quality message (CSI) and/or probing reference symbol (SRS) from UE to eNodeB. In accordance with one embodiment, providing UL and/or DL assignments received only before and during subframe N-4, while providing UL and/or DL assignment, received UE after subframe N-4 are discarded during determination. Besides, timers related to DRX, in subframe N-4 are considered during determination. In the second embodiment, the control elements of the MSS from the eNodeB, which instruct the UE to enter the DRX, i.e. become inactive, are taken into account when determining, only if they are received before subframe N-4, i.e. before and during subframe N-(4+k).

EFFECT: technical result is to avoid double decoding in eNodeB in transient phases due to deterministic behavior of UE, according to which eNodeB can unambiguously determine whether UE will transmit CSI/SRS or not.
