SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is referred to hydraulic-set packers intended for setting in annular space of the borehole and methods of their setting. The hydraulic-set packer intended for setting in annular space of the borehole comprises a spindle with inner channel and inner window coupling the inner channel with the area outside spindle; a packer element placed at the spindle and having the first and second sides, at that the packer element is compressible for the purpose of its connecting to the borehole; a piston is placed at the spindle at the first side of the packer element, and it forms the first and second piston chambers, at that the first piston chamber is connected to the inner window; and bypass space connecting annular space at the second side of the packer element to the second piston chamber of the piston at the first side of the packer element.

EFFECT: increased mounting force at the packer element.
