FIELD: engineering elements.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve apparatuses for drilling boreholes. For gas lifting, gas lift valves are installed on the production string in the wellbore. The gas lift valve has a pressure-sensitive valve (140, 150) and a check valve (160) configured to adjust the communication in the valve. By the first connection (230), the piston (210) is maintained in the closed state relative to the outlet of the valve exposed to pressure in the tubing string, while the check valve is maintained open by the second connection (240). The integrity under pressure of the tubing string and the casing string can be verified by increasing the pressures in the tubing string and the annular space while maintaining the piston in the closed state. The gas lift valve is then actuated for operation by increasing the pressure in the tubing string or the annular space beyond the preset limit for the first connection in order to stop the movement of the piston relative to the outlet. When the piston (210) is moved, the second connection (240) relative to the check valve is no longer maintained, so that the check valve can operate normally as a one-way valve.

EFFECT: creation of gas lift valves suitable for drilling boreholes.
