FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: protective structure of a water separating column for self-lifting drilling rigs comprises several supports, an upper module containing the main protective pipe for the accommodation of the water separating column, several bushes located around the main protective pipe and installed on the supports, and connecting fittings connecting the named several bushes connected among themselves and to the main protective pipe. The protective structure also contains the lower module comprising several tubular guides for guiding and subsequent fixing of the supports and a connecting structure. The named several supports are rigidly fixed at the sea bottom, providing the required support of the upper and lower modules in the assembled state.
EFFECT: strengthening of protection of the water separating column against shock impact, in particular from impacts of ice floes or vessels.
