SUBSTANCE: invention relates to floating not self-propelled self-lifting drilling rigs (SPDR) for search and exploration of hydrocarbon deposits at shallow-water marine areas. Method for transportation of self-lifting floating drilling rig includes use of auxiliary equipment for increasing depth margin under floating vehicle, in form of flexible elastic waterproof containers with initially zero buoyancy, which are brought under body of floating craft and fixed on side surface of floating craft, and then filled with compressed air, wherein the pontoon side surfaces of the self-lifting floating drilling rig along its perimeter are additionally equipped with L-shaped crossbars, the horizontal shelf of which is installed at the level of the main (upper) pontoon deck, flat lattice metal structures are laid over horizontal shelves of L-shaped crossbars, and under them flexible waterproof tanks with initially zero buoyancy are introduced, which are then simultaneously filled with compressed air. Pontoon at points of its retrofitting with L-shaped girders and their pre-installation are reinforced by stiffness ribs on inner side surface of pontoon and additional flat plates. L-shaped crossbars, on top of which flat lattice metal structures are laid, are made as detachable after transportation of SPDR over shallow water, installation of platform at the specified drilling point and for period of well construction. Flexible resilient watertight containers are modular and isolated from each other.
EFFECT: reduction of settling of self-lifting floating drilling rig during its transportation over maximum shallow water.
