FIELD: water purification.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining a catalytic material for water treatment includes wetting the base with a solution of polyacrylamide. After wetting, a dry mixture of oxides is added to the wetted base and mixed. The finished semi-moist material is unloaded into a drum dryer and dried. Zeolite and/or burnt rock and/or quartz sand are used as the starting material for the base. Iron oxides and/or manganese oxides and/or aluminum oxides and/or calcium oxides and/or magnesium oxides and/or potassium oxides and/or silicon oxides are used as starting material for the dry mixture of oxides.
EFFECT: invention allows eco-friendly and automated production of highly efficient catalytic sorbent for water purification.
