FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: method for real-time control of data streams in packet switched networks includes generating an initial probe signal, transmitting said signal to network nodes via all incident channels, supplementing the incoming probe signal with information on links with other nodes and further transmission to other network nodes of said probe signal and subsequent supplemented probe signals according to set conditions. The method includes constructing a link table and a full matrix of routes at each network node based on information conveyed by the probe signals.
EFFECT: high network efficiency owing to faster control of data streams.
