FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to system of passive safety of pedestrians, animals and drivers in collision with vehicle front. Proposed system comprises set of vehicle overload sensors and control module electrically connected with gas generator actuators and external airbag with opening opposite to driver's seat to be inflated from under the hood to cover vehicle windshield with front pillars and roof front edge. The safety airbag at the side of its external damping surface has on its left edge a bead the right side surface of which is parallel to longitudinal vehicle axis and perpendicular to road surface, and on upper edge - a bead connected with the mentioned bead the front surface of which is perpendicular to windshield axis of symmetry, and rear surface of this bead has a slope to this axis of symmetry backwards and downwards in vertical plane.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of protection.
