SUBSTANCE: in the device to up the safety of vehicle, containing set of overload transducers and control unit electrically connected with gas generators and external airbag with opening opposite to driver's seat to be inflated from under the hood to cover vehicle windshield with front pillars and roof front edge, filled with gas airbag has sides on the left and right sideboards. The inner and outer sideboards side surfaces are perpendicular to the road plane. Along its upper edge the sideboard is connected to the noted sideboards and its front surface is perpendicular to windshield axis of symmetry, and the rear surface has a slope to this axis of symmetry backwards and down in vertical plane.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of protection.
