FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: cardiorespiratory test with venous blood gas composition analysis aims at identifying individually for each person being tested four physiological stages in response to ascending physical load so that the person being tested achieves the maximum load for no more than 15 minutes. The first stage - lactate - is identified at the moment of a heavy increase of blood lactate; the second stage of adaptation to the physical load (pH-threshold) is identified at the moment of a decrease of venous blood pH; the third stage describing the point of respiratory compensation is identified at the moment of ventilation enhancement reflected by an increase of carbon dioxide deposition; and the fourth stage is an aerobic limit corresponding to the moment of peak aerobic metabolism when the further increase of aerobic energy generation appears impossible.
EFFECT: more effective regimen of physiological rehabilitation, enhancement ensured by making individual protocols of performing the load of gradually ascending power both by cardiovascular patients, and professional athletes and healthy untrained individuals.
