FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for manufacture of a biologically active additive for product colouration and vitaminisation involves vitaminised mixture components preparation and sublimation drying; garden variety carrots are steamed till readiness and milled; egg yolks are cooked till fondant consistency; the components are cooled to room temperature and mixed; sugar and citric acid are added; the mixture is beaten till the volume increases two times, subjected to vacuum-sublimation drying and powdered under preset conditions.
EFFECT: additive is effective for product colouration and vitaminisation and is characterised by increased storage life.
