FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method includes: (a) putting raw materials in contact with (i) diluent and (ii) hydrogen with production of the mixture of raw materials/diluent/hydrogen, where hydrogen is dissolved in the mixture to produce liquid raw materials; (b) putting the mixture of raw materials/diluent/hydrogen in contact with catalyst in a liquid-filled reactor with fixed layer of ideal displacement or tubular design to produce a mixture of products and (c) repeated use of a part of the mixture of products in the form of a flow of the repeatedly used product by means of combination of the flow of the repeatedly used product with raw materials to produce a part of diluent at the stage (a) with recycle ratio in the range from approximately 1 to approximately 10. At the same time raw materials have content of asphaltenes of 3% of the total weight of raw materials, hydrogen is supplied in equivalent quantity of 160 l/l (900 st. cub. feet/barr. n.), and diluent includes, consists mainly if, or consists of the flow of repeatedly used product.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to prevent coking of catalyst, to extend its service life, to replace large reactors with smaller and simpler ones, and to improve quality of mixtures of heavy hydrocarbons with high content of asphaltenes to more valuable flows.
