SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an active material for a negative electrode for a lithium-ion secondary battery that contains an alloy consisting of Si within the range of 31 wt % or more up to 50 wt % or less, Sn within the range of 16 wt % or more up to 41 wt % or less, Al within the range of 24 wt % or more up to 43 wt % or less and inevitable admixtures as a residue. The invention also relates to the negative electrode for the lithium-ion secondary battery that contains the active material for the negative electrode of the lithium-ion secondary battery as well as the lithium-ion secondary battery.
EFFECT: material allows the suppression of an amorphous to crystalline phase conversion in order to increase the duration of a cyclic resource thus ensuring high capacitance.
