FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: active material of a positive electrode for lithium-ion secondary battery is offered, which contains the compound with the following composition formula: [Li1.5][Li0.5(1-x)Mn1-xM1.5x]O3, where x satisfies the relation 0.15≤x≤0.30, and M is represented by a formula NiαCoβMnγ, where α, β and γ satisfy respectively the relations 0<α≤0.5; 0≤β≤0.33 and 0<γ≤0.5, and the half-width of the peak from the crystal plane (001) of the compound measured using the method of x-ray diffraction is within the range from 0.19 to 0.212 inclusive, and the average diameter of primary particles of the compound is in the range from 0.19 microns to 0.25 microns inclusive. EFFECT: use of the present invention allows to obtain the active material of a positive electrode capable to change easy the crystal structure in connection with emission of Li and providing high reversible capacity.
