FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes thermal processing of the non-converted residue of hydroconversion, boiling away at a temperature higher than 520°C and containing a distributed ultradisperse catalyst, with obtaining a sol residue, which is subjected to washing with the extraction of a molybdenum-containing catalyst precursor, which is returned into the cycle. The thermal processing of the non-converted residue of hydroconversion is realised by its gasification in the mixture with the circulating inert carrier, on which the metals, contained in an initial raw material and catalysts, are sorbed, with subjecting the sol residue and inert carrier, enriched with molybdenum trioxide from the spent catalyst, to washing.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the degree of molybdenum extraction from the conversion residue, eliminate the emissions of molybdenum-containing compounds into the environment and considerably reduce the amount of flue gases.
