FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of regenerating molybdenum-containing catalyst from boiling over 500 °C of the hydrocarbon stock hydroconversion residue. Method involves: extraction by filtration from a residue of hydroconversion, boiling over 500 °C, which is dissolved in weight ratio hydroconversion residue:solvent of 1:2–1:4, spent catalyst concentrate containing distributed ultradisperse particles of MoS2; oxidation of catalyst concentrate with aqueous solution of mixture of nitric and sulfuric acids at 25–100 °C; neutralization of catalyst suspension to pH> 6 with aqueous ammonia solution, followed by separation into aqueous solution, which is catalyst precursor, and solid residue, containing vanadium and nickel compounds, solvent used is toluene, or fraction NK-120 °C from the product of hydroconversion, or catalytic cracking light gas oil. Solvent separated after separation is returned to dissolve the hydroconversion residue. Aqueous solution of mixture of acids contains from 600 to 800 g/l of HNO3 and from 100 to 200 g/l H2SO4. Oxidation of catalyst concentrate is carried out for 30 to 360 minutes.
EFFECT: technical result is high degree of extraction of molybdenum from concentrate of spent catalyst, extracted from unconverted residue of vacuum distillation of hydroconversion product, with elimination of emissions of toxic compounds of sulfur, vanadium and other metals, including molybdenum compounds.
