FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: aspects of the invention are compositions of joint compounds, wall structures, methods to treat walls and products related to any of the above aspects, including a reinforcing pad, for example, to protect angles in the areas of slabs jointing, fixtures and a tape for joints covering. The composition of the joint compound of drying type includes (a) a binder selected from polymers of acrylic acid, copolymers of acrylic acid, alkyds, polyurethanes, polyesters, epoxides and combinations of the specified compounds, and (b) multiple hollow balls, besides, the specified balls have average isostatic compression strength at least 100 psi (689 kPa), measured according to ASTM D3102-78. The invention also relates to a wall structure, containing: (a) two adjacent boards connected with a joint, (b) a single layer of the specified joint compound composition in a joint to ensure uniform aesthetically attractive appearance and (c) a flat tape stable in size and not swelling to seal joints, included into the joint. Besides, the invention relates to the method to treat a wall structure, comprising two adjacent slabs, connected with a joint, which includes: a) application of a tape to cover joints and one layer of the specified composition of joint compound onto the joint and (b) drying of the composition. The joint compound is preferably a composition of drying type with reduced shrinkage, containing a binder and hollow balls, at the same time in some versions of realisation they as a result produce an ultralight composition. In preferable versions of realisation the joint compound composition may be applied in the form of single-layer treatment. Other aspects of slab finishing system include such single-layer treatment, as a result of which make it possible for a user to work with joint compound closer to the plane of the slab compared to regular compositions. In some versions of realisation the tape for covering of joints and the strengthening pad may include a lining material from a non-swelling synthetic paper.
EFFECT: reduced labour intensiveness and cheaper manufacturing, increased strength of heat insulating material surface adhesion.
