FIELD: transportation machine building.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to transportation machine building, namely, to electro pneumatic pressure control modules for the vehicle brake mechanism actuated with a working component. Electro pneumatic pressure control module for the brake mechanism actuated with a pressurizing component, for a vehicle with two channels, electrically controlled in normal operation and pneumatically controlled in case of electrical system fault. Electro pneumatic pressure control module includes only one pressure sensor in one of the channels, the actual operating pressure in another channel is calculated based on the array of features. Way of using the electro pneumatic module is the following: based on the array of features, depending on a predetermined working pressure, and depending on the value of the actual working pressure observed during braking operation, with the wheels being in the same rotational mode, they calculate the duration of intake valve opening, and/or the duration of exhaust valve opening within the exhaust electro pneumatic valve unit of the second channel, and/or the duration of intake valve opening, and/or the duration of exhaust valve opening within the exhaust electro pneumatic valve unit of the first channel. Intake valve or the exhaust valve opens for the calculated duration of opening to create working pressure for the second brake actuator, or for the first brake actuator, in the working chamber of the relay valve of the second channel, or in the working chamber of the relay valve of the first channel, by pressure adjustment in the second channel or in the first channel.
