SUBSTANCE: device for increasing brake power has engine braking device located inside engine, turbocharger with exhaust gas-driven turbine and supercharger, as well as two manifold branches for exhaust gases. Each of manifold branches for exhaust gases is made capable to be locked using cutout valve in engine braking mode. From the locked zone of each manifold branch for exhaust gases bypass pipeline is tapped. Each bypass pipeline is connected with nozzle orifice which is formed in the wall working on turbine exhaust gases. Both nozzle orifices pass to turbine chamber in perpendicular to turbine wheel axis plane at a tangent to outer zone of turbine wheel. In engine braking mode, possibility is provided to tap exhaust gas from closed manifold branches via bypass pipelines.
EFFECT: increase in braking power of vehicle multicylinder combustion engine.
