SUBSTANCE: non-woven fabric (1) according to the present invention is a hydrophilic non-woven fabric, in which the fibrous structure (11) is present, where the long fibres (2) are bonded with the heat-adhesive device (3). The non-woven fabric (1) comprises fibres (20) obtained by breaking some of the long fibres (2), one end portions (20a) of which are bonded with the heat-adhesive device (3) and the other end portions of which are free end portions (20b) located separately and protruding from the fibrous structure (11). The degree of hydrophilicity of the fibres (20) having free end portions (20b) is lower than the degree of hydrophilicity of fibres constituting the fibrous structure (11).
EFFECT: increase in strength.
