SUBSTANCE: proposes a method of manufacturing an absorbent product, comprising molding extruded protuberances 31 by embossing nonwoven web 30S, which is top sheet 30, carried by pulling from the bottom along the production line; and then connecting nonwoven web 30S and material 40S of second sheet 40 according to the pattern of the joint formed by aligning the material of second sheet 40 with the back surface of nonwoven web 30S having extruded protuberances 31, with the formation of rows of numerous united parts 80 of the upper and second sheets with intervals in the transverse direction in the areas between extruded protuberances 31, adjacent to each other in the machine direction, such that they pass through the center positions of the regions in the transverse direction, and compress non-woven web 30S in regions 81 between joined parts 80 of the upper and second sheets in rows in the transverse direction without welding non-woven web 30S and material 40S of second sheet 40.

EFFECT: absorbent article is proposed that includes a top sheet having extruded protuberances, and a second sheet attached to the top sheet, and has sufficient softness, satisfactory appearance, and also prevents creases in the top sheet in the machine direction.
