SUBSTANCE: in a disposable diaper, fastening bands are tightened in a direct locking with a surface of a front substrate sheet made of a nonwoven material. The technical effect consists in the fact that the disposable diaper allows a small size adjustment to fit a baby's body by greater adhesion of the fastening bands and the front substrate sheet and junction of the front substrate sheet and a leak-proof sheet. The front substrate sheet is made of a nonwoven material with the use of an airflow binding technique, when fibres are thermally fused together during manufacturing of the nonwoven material by hot air supply during drum transfer. A side of an external surface of the substrate sheet is teased in the required area specified as at least the locking area with aforementioned fastening bands.

EFFECT: better junction of the fastening bands 10, and at least a piece of a front flap can be folded back longitudinally in any position.
