FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises integrating data and setting a threshold value of the released seismic energy; if the threshold has not been exceeded, continuing integration, and if exceeded, performing geodynamic zoning of the area with a resolution of not more than 100 km2; selecting portions on which a seismological network is compacted; finding seismically active structures of the geologic environment; determining deformation of the earth's surface and geodynamic activity of the selected portions using standardised partial factors; constructing a vector and determining the magnitude thereof, the value of which characterises geodynamic activity. The method enables to determine geodynamic state with a high technical-and-economic efficiency coefficient.
EFFECT: high reliability of determining subsurface geodynamic activity by constructing and using a seismological network.
